50 East 89th Street, NYC, NY

The existing formulaic layout of this classic hi-rise residence was redesigned with a new open floor plan that maximized skyline views and daylight. Kitchen and bedroom walls were partially removed to create a larger living room with ample space for entertaining. Terrace access was increased by relocating large -obstructing AC-equipment and installing new double-sliding glass doors. Full height pocket-doors concealed within the living room wall, provide privacy for the bedroom when needed. New maroon-colored resin cabinets with integrated hardware conceal kitchen equipment, provide ample storage and compliment owner's furnishings.
